GREEN AND YELLOW LEMON ICICLES WITH GINGER AND BLACK PEPPER
- 5 Untreated lemons
- 3 Untreated green lemons
- 30g clean ginger root
- 160ml Water
- 10g Honey thousand-flowers
- 3 Pepper berries
- Mint leaves
- Energy value ca. 20 Kcal per serving
- Features: Rich in flavor thanks to the presence of herbs and ginger
- Ideal as: snack
- Indicated in case of xerostomia, nausea and vomiting
Wash the lemons accurately.
Grate the peel finely and set apart. Lightly crush the lemons on the table and then squeeze them, filter the juice.
Heat the water and honey in a pan for a short time. Let the honey melt, but don’t bring to boil.
Add the green and yellow zest of the lemon, the peeled and finely sliced ginger and the crushed pepper berries.
Leave to infuse for at least 30′.
Strain all over by thin filter.
Now you have to decide on your preferred mold.

I love it in cubes… I normally use disposable freezer bags that allow me to have aromatic cubes always on hand to refresh a glass of water or simply to dissolve in the mouth. Forgot!
The mint is used as an additional aroma: the children like it very much and contrast the sour of the lemon.
Also, if you crush the cubes, you will get a fantastic and aromatic granita.
